Hummingbird Cake Stationery Bio
Hello! My name is Chelsea and I am the owner and founder of Hummingbird Cake Stationery, founded in the Spring of 2009. The company was started after I spent hours and hours looking through countless catalogs and websites offering thousands of different wedding invitations and other stationery goods when planning for my wedding, but I was having trouble finding any that I could both afford and fall in love with. That challenge of finding something both beautiful and budget-friendly led me to start my own company with the number one priority to provide exceptional service and stationery at accessible prices. You can count on us to communicate with you in a timely manner, work with you on creating a personalized product to suit your needs and not skimp on dedicating time to your order.
For those who are asking "what's a hummingbird cake?" - the name of the company comes from another beloved hobby of mine - baking! Many people have never heard of a hummingbird cake, which is a Southern traditional cake, sort of like a carrot cake but with bananas, pineapple and pecans, with a cream cheese frosting. Being fairly new to etsy, I am excited to be a part of this group of talented people and look forward to getting to know all of you and participating in events with you!
